Dream Builders Dream of Family Reunification
Prisons and jails have become overcrowded, and our youth are being incarcerated in unprecedented numbers. Families need to be reunited and visiting is impossible for some. Challenging Their Destiny Dream Builders, working in partnership with local like minded organizations, would like to provide resources, information and support to family members with incarcerated loved ones to help them stay in touch with their families and their children.
What's Needed:
Inmates from around the country are communicating with the youth in Dream Builders in hopes of stopping the cycle of incarceration. Those inmates need our help too..
Stamps, envelopes and writing materials are needed for the inmates and their families to communicate with their loved ones.
Reliable transportation to out of the way prisons is a neccesity so that children can spend time with their parents.
